Introduction to Newly Registered Domain Deletion Function

For certain newly registered domains, according to the rules of the corresponding registries, a limited proportion of domains may be deleted within a specified time frame. Below is an overview of the rules and process:

1. How to delete a domain?

a) Log in to your account;

b) Navigate to: Control Panel → My Domains → Manage → Common Functions → More Functions → Delete Domain (only domains that support deletion will display this option. Please note: per registry rules, only a certain proportion of domains can be deleted within the specified timeframe. Not all domains showing the delete option can be successfully deleted);

c) Click Delete Domain to enter the verification step. Please read the on-screen instructions carefully.

2. Will the deletion always be successful?

Whether the deletion is successful will depend on the actual prompt shown on the page. If the message indicates that the registry limit has been exceeded, it means the maximum number of deletions has already been reached, and you will need to wait for a new quota.

3. Supported TLDs, Deletion Grace Period (timeframe after registration within which deletion is supported), and Service Fee Standards

4. Important Notes

a) Domains registered with coupons cannot be deleted if the coupon is about to expire (less than 2 days remaining).

Example: If the coupon used to register the domain expires on 2025-09-03, you must submit the deletion request no later than 2025-09-01.

b) Once a domain is deleted, it will be removed from your account list and cannot be restored. Please proceed with caution.
